Football - Welcome to Chelsea

31 October 2026
Welcome Hudson Thomas

We’re thrilled to welcome back Huddo to the club for the 2027 season!

After spending the past three years at Springvale Districts, Huddo returns to the hoops with a wealth of experience, including being VFL listed and multiple Team of the Year honours at local level.

A versatile player, Huddo is renowned for his intercept marking and elite kicking skills, with the ability to break games open and turn defence into attack in an instant.

We can’t wait to see Huddo back running around in the hoops in 2027!

Welcome home, Huddo!

Welcome Will Stewart

We’re excited to welcome Will Stewart to the club for the 2027 season!

Will joins us from Crib Point, where he’s played his senior football after making his debut at just 16 years of age, to then follow it up with a top 5 finish in the best and fairest that year. Most recently, Will spent a season with the Oakleigh Chargers in the Talent League.

A fierce competitor, Will brings an aggressive approach to his footy, combined with silky skills on both sides of the body through the midfield.

At just 17 years of age, he’s an exciting young talent with plenty to offer.

We look forward to seeing Will in the hoops in 2027 and beyond!

Welcome aboard, Will

Welcome Piva Wright

MASSIVE addition to the hoops!

Please welcome Piva Wright to the club for the 2027 season!

The powerful ruckman/forward joins us with an impressive resume, having originally been drafted to Richmond before making his mark at Tooradin, where he claimed the 2025 Best & Fairest. Piva backed that up this season at Springvale Districts, taking home another Best & Fairest!

Known for his physical presence, aerial strength and leadership, Piva will be a fantastic addition to our side. His ability to find the footy, compete hard in the contest and make an impact around the ground makes him an exciting prospect for 2027.

We can’t wait to see Piva running around in the hoops!
