Best: JESS TRUMP MADI MARINO LILLIE OCONNOR BAYLEY WELLS

Match Report:
LOST 37-49 UNFORTUNATELY A GRADE PLAYED A VERY STRONG & EXPERIENCED SEAFORD SIDE THIS WEEK & WE ONLY PLAYED A HALF OF NETBALL WHICH JUST DIDNT CUT IT. THE TEAM PLAYED A FANTASTIC SECOND HALF WHICH WAS PRETTY MUCH GOAL FOR GOAL WITH SEAFORD THE WHOLE WAY, & THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THAT HAD THEY SWITCHED ON QUICKER , THE WIN COULD HAVE BEN THEIRS. ( 49-37) UNFORTUNATELY THIS HAS BEEN A THEME FOR THE FIRST 3 GAMES, CULMINATING IN AGREEMENT THAT A BETTER WARM UP & PREPARATION FOR THE TEAM IS A MUST FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. DESPITE THE LOSS JESS TRUMP PLAYED A PHENOMENAL GAME IN THE MID COURT & WAS OFTEN CRITICAL LINK BETWEEN DEFENCE & ATTACK AS A SAFE & STEADY OPTION. LILLIE OCONNOR PLAYED HER BEST GAME FOR THE SEASON & WAS MEASURED & CALM IN HER APPROACH WITH SOME GREAT CHANGES IN PACE ACROSS THE COURT, WHILE BAYLEY WELLS WAS ALSO A STRONG & STEADY PRESENCE IN THE MID COURT.

Best: LIZZIE WARDLAW MIA WILLIAMS BECCA CAMERON TIA WESTON

Match Report:
WON 40-31 EACH WEEK IM SUPER IMPRESSED WITH THE B GRADE TEAM. NOT EVEN JUST THE WAY THEY PERFORM ONCE ON COURT , THEIR PREPARATION. ALL PLAYERS AT TRAINING EVERY WEEK, CONNECTING & ENJOYING EACH OTHER, WARMING UP WITH INTENSITY & BRINGING HIGH STANDARDS TO EVERYTHING THEY DO....... AND IT SHOWS ON GAME DAY WHEN THEY STEP ON COURT. SEAFORD WAS THE TOUGHEST OPPOSITION SO FAR & THE GIRLS REALLY GRINDED OUT THIS WIN JUST CHIPPING AWAY AT EACH QUARTER (40-31) A REALLY GOOD PERFORMANCE AGAINST A GOOD SIDE. LIZZIE WARDLAW PLAYED A GREAT GAME IN ANY POSITION SHE WAS IN WITH A GREAT DISPLAY OF HER AERIAL ABILITY. MIA WILLIAMS IS ON FIRE WITH HER WORK IN THE MID COURT, HER FEEDS & POSITIONING HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY ON POINT. UNFORTUNATELY WE LOST TIA WESTON AT THE END OF THE MATCH DUE TO INJURY & SADLY CONFIRMED SHE HAS TORN HER ACL & WILL MISS THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON. THIS IS A BIG LOSS FOR THE TEAM AND WE WILL MISS TIA TERRIBLY,BUT THE WHOLE SQUAD HAS HER BACK DURING HER RECOVERY. XX

Match Report:
WON 53-30 THIS WAS THE BEST C GRADE HAVE PLAYED ALL SEASON & THINGS JUST CLICKED, WHICH WAS GREAT TO SEE. THEY PLAYED WITH LESS PANIC & TOOK THE PRESSURE OFF THEMSELVES AND JUST PLAYED, RESULTING IN A GREAT WIN. 53-30 BRIANNA ROOTH SHOT REALLY WELL AND WAS CONFIDENT IN LOOKING TO THE POST. SHAY CHAPMAN GOT SOME GREAT INTERCEPTS IN DEFENCE AND WORKED HER FEET TIRELESSLY . IT WAS GREAT TO SEE PAISLEY SMITH & DARCY CLOSE STEP UP INTO THE TEAM AND FIT REALLY WELL.

Best: STEPH AARSMAN KATE WEBSTER ADELLE ULBRICK CLAUDIA LENNOX

Match Report:
WON 58-23 D GRADE HAVE HAD A REALLY SOLID START TO THE SEASON AND HAVE BUILT EACH WEEK TO DUST OFF THE COBWEBS AND FIND REALLY GOOD FORM. SEAFORD WAS NOT A EASY TEAM, BUT THE D GRADE TEAM WORE THEM DOWN AND SCORED HIGH TO GET A GREAT WIN. 58-23 SLOWING DOWN AND EXECUTING KEY SKILLS LIKE PASS CHOICE AND ANGLED DRIVES REMAINS AN OPPORTUNITY, BUT THEY ARE DOING REALLY WELL. KATE WEBSTER CELEBRATED HER 100TH GAME AND REALLY LEAD THE TEAM. CLAUDIA LENNOX NOT ONLY WORKED SUPER HARD AT TRAINING BUT MOVED WELL AND WAS SUPER HANDY IN THE MID COURT. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK BAYLEY & THE D GRADE TEAM.

Best: TAMSIN WESTON EMMA STOREY AYLA SCHERWINSKI DARCY CLOSE

Match Report:
WON 51-9 THESE GIRLS ARE JUST GETTING BETTER AND BETTER EVERY SINGLE WEEK. THEY PLAYED AGAINST KARINGAL AT KARINGAL THIS WEEK AND CAME OUT FIRING FROM THE FIRST WHISTLE. AFTER A GREAT START WE HAD A GOOD LEARNING EXPERIENCE ON 'UNFORCED ERRORS' IN THE SECOND QTR WITH A SLOPPY PERFORMANCE. TO THE GIRLS CREDIT THEY TIGHTENED UP AND REALLY FOCUSED ON EXECUTING THE BASICS. EMMA STOREY WAS ON ABSOLUTE FIRE AND IS GETTING STRONGER EVERY SINGLE WEEK, THE IMPACT HER TIPS & INTERCEPTS HAVE ON THE TEAM IS INCREDIBLE. TESS WOOLLEY REALLY STOOD UP IN GOALS AND SHOT ACCURATELY AND STARTED TO FIND A GOOD CONNECTION IN THE RING WITH HER FELLOW GOALERS. WELL DONE GIRLS ON A GREAT WIN ( 51-9) AND 3 FROM 3 START TO THE SEASON.
