One of our most exciting recruits over the off season…. Welcome SEAN DOWNIE 

We’re thrilled to welcome Sean — along with his partner Rubi — to the club for 2026 and beyond!
Sean joins us from East Brighton, where he has spent the past three seasons. 
During his time there, he was nothing short of outstanding — claiming back to back best and fairest awards, along with multiple Team of the Year selections.
Before that, Sean played and captained at Rosebud, where he claimed two Best and Fairest awards, a league MVP, multiple Team of the Year honours, and represented the league on several occasions.
Sean has speed to burn known for his explosive bursts through the midfield, attack on the contest, and elite ball use, he is set to be a massive addition to our side.
We can’t wait to see Sean running around in the hoops next season!!
